File Sharing Using the Wildcat Folder (SAES District File System)

The SAES District File System is a locally hosted Windows-based file system. Teachers and students can rely on it during Internet outages, as it is only accessible when logged on to the SAES local network (on any campus).

Like the ARAMCO network, the DFS has a similar structure Staff, Student (Wildcat), and District:

At Dhahran School the "Wildcat Folder" is a quick desktop link the Student file section.

Every student has a privately mapped network drive, the "P:" drive.

Inside the Grad Year folders, are the individual students' P: Drives. Teachers can access these folders, and the work inside them.

Inside the Teacher folders you will find your a list of DH Staff folders by teacher name which contain teachers' Class Files, Dropbox, and Exchange.

Class Files - files created by a teacher that can be used but not modified by students
DropBox - students should save and drag into this folder; they cannot see the work submitted by others students
Exchange - students have full access to this folder - take caution how it is used
